Join Foot and Ankle Specialists of Illinois at the “There’s No Place Like LITH” Event

We’re excited to share that Foot and Ankle Specialists of Illinois is a proud partner of this year’s “There’s No Place Like LITH” celebration—a whimsical, Wizard of Oz–themed community event happening in Lake in the Hills on Saturday, October 5th.

This fun-filled morning features something for everyone—whether you’re a runner, dog lover, parent of young kids, or just looking for a great way to connect with your community.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road with Us

The event kicks off at Sunset Park and includes:

  • Yellow Brick Road 5K Fun Run/Walk – A self-timed, family-friendly loop around the park

  • Toto’s 1-Mile Dog Walk – Bring your furry friend and enjoy a scenic stroll

  • Munchkinland 100-Yard Dash – A colorful, non-competitive race for kids

  • Emerald City Community Party – From 11am to 1pm with bounce houses, games, crafts, music, and character meet-and-greets!

🎉 All participants get entry into the Emerald City Party, a race t-shirt (or pup bandana), and access to giveaways and costume contests.

Stop by and Say Hello

Our Office Manager and MA/FD team will be on-site—some handing out swag at our table and others lacing up for the 5K and other events. Look for our table at the event and stop by to say HI!

We’ll also spotlight pediatric foot care and same-day sports injury treatment, along with our ongoing commitment to supporting the community we serve.

We’re proud to support events like this that bring people together, promote wellness, and celebrate the amazing community we serve.
